Our properties are located in a peaceful family friendly area. There is a little stream that runs from behind the properties into the Solent that is great for crabbing.

The beach is less than 100 meters from the front doors of both of our properties. It is a shingle and rocky beach with great rock pools at low tide and some sandy areas that are ideal for sunbathing.

The Isle of Wight has over a dozen award winning beaches that are maintained to an extremely high standard including Gurnard Bay, a sand and shingle beach. It is popular with families and ideal for dinghy sailing and wind surfing. There is a good family pub, The Woodvale, and local café, both of which have beautiful Solent views.

Just a short walk along the esplanade is Cowes Green and Beach. This is a popular spot to watch the vast array of sailing activities and see the great liners & cruise ships coming in and out of Southampton Water, as well as an excellent vantage point to see the Cowes Week Friday night fireworks.
